Piping mengambil peranan penting dalam melakukan transfer fluida di sebuah plant atau berbagai storage. Dengan transfer tersebut diharapkan akan terjadi proses – proses berkelanjutan menjadikan produk akhir. Berbicara Piping dimulai dari tahapan design, analisis, penentuan specification, data sheet, dan kemudian construction. Adalah sebuah proses yang tidak bisa hanya dikuasai dengan otodidak perlu training untuk bisa menjadikan lebih optimum dan efisien. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah guideline dalam melakukan tahapan design piping. Piping design harus mengakomodasi beberapa aspek dalam sebuah proyek. Aspek Safety, Accessibility, Constructability, Maintenance dan Economic. Sebuah plant yang memiliki kapasitas sangat baik namun nampak semrawut tentu mempengaruhi operasional sehari hari. Disamping menggunakan bantuan tools PDMS dan CAESAR, maka diperlukan pemahaman yang memadai untuk kaidah kaidah dasar design piping agar nantinya dapat berguna dalam mengambil keputusan terkait dengan problem desain dan memberikan solusi yang terbaik. Menimbang cukup kompleknya materi pelatihan Piping Design ini bagi peserta, dibutuhkan training provider yang berpengalaman di bidangnya agar tidak membuat peserta tidak menjadi cepat bosan dan jenuh dalam mendalami bidang teknik ini.

OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Piping System Fundamentals seminar is to provide the attendee with a clear understanding how all the items in a fluid piping system operate. Process plants, such as refineries and petrochemical plants, are complex facilities consisting of equipment, piping systems, instruments, electrical systems, electronics, computers and control systems.
